Contemporary Wooden Bookshelf Sculpted Design For Living Space

Open shelves, a sweeping S-shaped spine and an airy look define the Contemporary Wooden Bookshelf Sculpted Design For Living Space, a piece that treats storage as sculpture.

The spine

A curving central spine anchors the design, and several live-edge shelves branch out from it at different angles. The asymmetry gives books, ceramics and plants a lively place to sit.

Placed against a wall, the piece reads like a piece of furniture and a piece of art at once. Books, ceramics and plants each find their level, and the live edges add a natural, uneven line that you will not find on a standard box shelf.

Open back, solid wood

With an open back, your wall color shows through, keeping a large piece light. It is built from solid wood blocks joined together and gently finished for warmth and a tactile, rustic feel. Parts ship separately, so assembly is needed.

• Home offices and creative studios
• Master bedrooms and guest suites

Natural wood varies in grain, color and texture, so each bookshelf is unique. Every piece is made to order.
