Artistic Sculptural Wall Art Fish-Inspired For Living Room

Solid wood forms the whole of this Artistic Sculptural Wall Art Fish-Inspired For Living Room. Its lines are fluid. Its voids are open and curved.

Design

The carving takes its cue from fish gliding through water. Open gaps let light pass through and cast moving shadows, while the cut edges reveal how deep the grain runs.

Materials and finish

Solid wood blocks are joined to make the piece. A light finish leaves the surface raw and warm to the touch. For safe transport it travels in several parts, so some assembly is needed on arrival.

Where to hang it

Choose a living room, a hallway, an entry, a studio or a boutique space. It fits coastal and nature-led rooms particularly well. Because the piece is mostly air and edge, it never feels heavy on the wall, and the pattern changes as daylight moves through the room. It pairs well with simple, uncluttered surroundings.
